ALDC | Brand Marketing

Brand Marketing work for ALDC, Association of Liberal Democrat Councillors.
The Association of Liberal Democrats provide essential training and support for Liberal Democrat councillors, campaigners and candidates.

With the association on a big drive to increase membership and no clear brand style or guideline to adhere to, the existing ALDC’s brand identity and marketing communications had become increasingly inconsistent.

Appointed in 6 months ago, the brief was to refresh the brand identity and
develop creative print solutions to support the brand marketing and membership teams in
increasing membership subscriptions to the association via the website and at local conferences.

While ALDC were keen to retain their box shaped logo, FIRE created some further identity ideas, one of which was selected as better representing the organisations values and focus.

Consistency of how the association communicates across its brand identity and marketing has been restored. The new pillar style identity design has helped reinforce the associations values of support and knowledge with the use of modern reportage style imagery used to give the whole ALDC brand a contemporary feel.

The Result

ALDC have been a great client to work with. Taking on board our many ideas with such positivity and enthusiasm.  It’s extremely rewarding to see how the introduction of some simple brand marketing structures have helped improve clarity and re-ignite life into the organisations day to day business and marketing activities.
